Hello class of 2015, for those of you that don’t know me I’m Anna Daccache and I’m an ardent film lover, an avid runner, an obsessive tennis player, foodie, your peer and hopefully your future senior class president. I’m not going to make you empty promises. I don’t want to say something and go back on my word. That’s not the type of person I strive to be. You guys want something done, I’ll do it. I can tell you that I will put 200% into anything you ask of me. I take pride in whatever I do, and if you want something done, just ask, I’ll always listen and together we can make a plan to achieve it. Prom is obviously a big thing on everyone’s mind. I will work as hard as I can to make it exceed all your expectations and try and make it as inexpensive as possible. Fundraisers like car washes and bake sales will be used to raise money and where could we go wrong with food? Everyone loves food. I’ve been a part of student government since freshman year and felt it was time I step up to the plate and try and make a big difference. Because, this isn’t just about our class as a whole; it’s about the individuals, each and every one of you. The athletes; the lacrosse players, soccer players, basketball players, tennis players, track, hockey, swimming, water polo. There’s the musicians; the band, the chorus, the orchestra, there’s theatre and musical theatre. There’s the endless list of clubs; debate team, science team, math team, model UN, cancer awareness. But we all fall under the same category; students. And as students it’s our right to have a say in what we want from our school regarding our classes, sports teams, clubs, music department. We are all unique, we’re all different, we strive towards different goals but they have the same end; to make something of ourselves. And if you elect me your senior class president we can achieve those goals together, because this isn’t about me, it’s about us. I will do anything within my power to help you take that first step towards what you want to be. I’ll speak with teachers and house masters, I’ll even go to Dr. Winters or the Board of Education if it comes to it. We are one class but we all have different interests and being a member of the cross country team and varsity tennis team, Co-chair of the CAST committee, and having fallen in love with the theatre electives I’ve taken I understand where all of you are coming from. I know the different things you need and want to make that niche of yours better, not just for you but for the students to follow. So talk to me, whenever, wherever. I’m an open book and open to all sorts of ideas. I’m ready to listen to what each and everyone of you wants. And if elected, I promise to stay that way.

JEMMA: Her core temperature’s hovering around 44° Fahrenheit. If we don’t bring her back up to temp in the next few hours, she could sustain permanent brain damage. We need to get her to a medical facility and fast. Until then, I’ll do everything I can do keep her alive. Excuse me.

As a bisexual, it sickens me that some people WILL keep scrolling.
As the straight daughter of a gay man, it sickens me that some people will keep scrolling.
As a straight girl with a basic understanding of equality and love, it also sickens me that people will keep scrolling.
As a human it sickens me that people will keep scrolling.
